Pale Marine - Ashen Shrikes

This is turning into like a small series or something... Well prolly should draw something other than a Space Marine next time. Getting better and faster at doing the paint chipping effect so at least I have that going for me.

The renegade marine this time really isnt from any particular Chapter/Warband that I am aware. Pretty close to the Purged, I guess, in terms of color scheme. Maybe Space Wolves?
But really, it is from a bunch of characters I am concepting to be a part of a small warband. And the warband operates from a single cruiser and currently  the warband has been named Ashen Shrikes. This is kind of like a color scheme test I guess. More things related to the warband to come soon. Hopefully?

Here, the renegade marine is posed as if he is creeping and about to shank some unsuspecting victim.

Features:
-Scavenged bones fallen foes, fastened to the left pauldron as decoration.
-Elbow joint dust cover made from someone's skin. Flexible leather-like material, acts as a basic protection from small debris as well as partially muffle noises from the joint to allow more stealthy arm movement. (Honestly tho, its for COOLs)
-Scavenged power sword. Originally found by the current wielder with its blade shattered in half and the handle badly damaged. Through the labors of the ship's artificer, the weapon has been re-purposed as a powered combat knife. Notably, the damaged handle has been replaced with a leg bone of some unfortunate Space Marine, and turning it into a lighter handle more fitting for a weapon of its size.
