world seems a lot darker, more unfriendly these days.
leaves that should be green with the coming of spring instead seems to have gotten grey and dull.
the sun seems to have failed to get up today. there is little differance between day and night. and what's it matter? its not like i care anymore.

the world which used to give off so many sensations, smell, sound and touch, seems to have stopped doing so. the refreshing morning air seems to not differ from the stale miasma of the room. the birds that used to sing seems to have stopped in their tracks. i see their little beaks move and yet no music for my ears seem to flow out.

and the little warmth of life that i used to feel, warmth of a cocoa that warmed me to the bones as it flowed down my throat, the snug comfort i felt lying in my bed, the refreshing touch of a hot shower as the water drips down my skin.

instead all i feel is this dead grip of cold. i feel the cold in my lifeless toes as i wake up, i feel the cold in my lungs as i breath in the air around me and i feel the cold, the sick and paralysing cold, on the tips of my finger. as i wait, i can feel the cold slowing spread to the rest of my body and no amount of warmth or heat seem to be able to stop this freeze

why is it so cold in here?
why does it feel so cold in my heart?
